Booking & Cancellation policy

To secure your appointment, a valid payment card must be added to your So.Shell account at the time of booking.

We no longer require advance pre-payments. By confirming your booking, you authorise So.Shell to charge your saved card in line with the policy below.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge more than 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the service price.

In the event of a no-show, 50% of the booked service may also be charged.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, we may be unable to provide the full service. The full service price may still apply.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unforeseen situations may arise. Fee waivers may be considered at management discretion.

Payment Security

All payment details are processed securely via certified payment providers and handled in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations. So.Shell does not store full card details internally.

By making a booking, you agree to these terms.

Important Note

By booking an appointment with us, you automatically agree to our booking and cancellation policy, regardless of whether you have explicitly reviewed the policy.

Service Warranty

The salon offers a 7-day warranty on gel manicure and pedicure services. This warranty covers free repairs for issues such as chipping, peeling, or lifting within 7 days from the date the service was provided. Repairs requested outside this period will be charged.

Compliance with UK Laws

This policy aligns with:

1. The Consumer Rights Act 2015, which permits businesses to establish fair cancellation terms and retain deposits when services cannot be rebooked due to short-notice cancellations.

2. The Unfair Contract Terms Directive, ensuring our terms are clear, reasonable, and not overly restrictive for clients.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, which ensure the salon can manage its schedule efficiently while offering flexibility when possible.

For further information about your consumer rights, you can refer to the UK Government’s consumer guidance.
